The Sun's Joy
"The Sun’s Joy" is my collection of writings about traditional methods of astrology. It’s mostly short pieces, written in a straightforward style that I hope is easy to read and understand, even for those who know little about astrology. Since starting the blog in 2009 I've written over 150 posts on a wide range of subjects, including astrology fundamentals, worked horary chart examples, birth-chart studies of famous individuals, and much more! The blog title refers to my Leo Sun in the 9th house, the house of its Joy (a type of dignity in astrology).

Is Mitch McConnell still alive?
On June 14, Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell was admitted to hospital and has not yet returned home. Members of the GOP have claimed that he’s alive and that they’ve talked with him. There’s no proof of this other than a photo that could certainly be fake. Postmortem election horary 2024: Will we win??
Polls showed the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in a dead heat. I felt severely anxious at the possibility that voters might recklessly and irrationally choose Trump to be president again. I’m not neutral here: I despise Trump, and I feared he would destroy American democracy. I believed Harris was a strong candidate who would serve the country well. I'm often asked this question. I’ve tried my hand at general natal readings off and on over the years, given that clients always seem to want them. But there are built-in problems with this kind of reading.
