The Sun's Joy

"The Sun’s Joy" is my collection of writings about traditional methods of astrology.  It’s mostly short pieces, written in a straightforward style that I hope is easy to read and understand, even for those who know little about astrology in general. Since starting the blog in 2009 I've written over 150 posts on a wide range of subjects. The blog title refers to my Leo Sun in the 9th house, the house of its joy (a type of dignity in astrology).

Postmortem election horary 2024: Will we win??

Polls showed the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in a dead heat. I felt severely anxious at the possibility that voters might recklessly and irrationally choose Trump to be president again. I’m not neutral here: I despise Trump, and I feared he would destroy American democracy. I believed Harris was a strong candidate who would serve the country well.
