Polls showed the race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in a dead heat. I felt severely anxious at the possibility that voters might recklessly and irrationally choose Trump to be president again. I’m not neutral here: I despise Trump, and I feared he would destroy American democracy. I believed Harris was a strong candidate who would serve the country well. The question emerged: "Will we win??" on 9 Oct 2024, 4:13 p.m. CDT in Mukwonago, WI.
I had already voted for Harris by mail, so she is signified by Saturn, ruler of Capricorn on the Ascendant, at 13.48 Pisces. Trump is The Enemy so he is Lord 7, ruler of Leo on the Descendant, at 17.4 Libra. The Moon is at 6.10 Capricorn, favoring Saturn/Harris and applying to sextile Saturn. This should mean that Harris wins the election.
But when we calculate the antiscia, there’s a complication. The Moon first opposes Jupiter, the sitting president, by antiscion in 2 degrees before it reaches Saturn/Harris. (An antiscion is like
a shadow placement of a planet; here, the Moon’s antiscion is 23.50 Sagittarius, moving to oppose Jupiter at 21 Gemini.) I wondered: is this meaningful, and does it prohibit a Harris win?
Given my strong emotions about the question and the gravity of the situation, I asked Teacher for his input. Here’s what he said:
“An antiscion will not usually prohibit a bodily aspect, unless there is a clear meaning for it doing so. The Moon is in Jupiter’s fall, and Jupiter, which is in its detriment, is Lord 10. Is it
possible that the voters have some bad opinion about Biden which would prevent them voting for Harris?”
Looking back, Teacher’s insight was spot on. Yes, the voters—enough of them, at least—thought Biden was responsible for inflation and believed him to be failing mentally. Biden had crashed out at the first presidential debate and a few weeks later he was forced to drop out of the race.
At the time, I told Teacher that I didn’t think Biden’s planet had the strength to prohibit:
“I think Biden/Jupiter being in detriment and station shows how completely irrelevant our sitting president has become. No one has paid him a speck of attention since he dropped out of the race.
Sadly so, because actually he has been a very good president. Public opinion turned against him mostly because of inflation and unfortunately, people have a very shallow understanding of these
things.”
But I was wrong. Trump won.
So: what in this horary chart shows Trump’s win? Quoting Teacher again:
“If there is no aspect from the Moon, possibly we could see the Sun’s aspect to Jupiter as showing Trump getting the job. But it aspects Mars at almost exactly the same time. I don’t know what
Mars might signify, but with the Sun being in its detriment, it’s unlikely to be a positive.”
I do believe that the Sun’s trine to Jupiter—this time signifying the office of president—is the testimony showing Trump’s win.
Now, bear with me for a moment as I speculate about what Mars might mean in this chart.
After the results were in, several election integrity organizations raised concerns about anomalies in the vote totals in all seven swing states. Most people on our side (Dems and dem voters)
could not bear to claim vote tampering after Trump’s false claims of election fraud in 2020. (Facts: Trump took his case to court over 60 times and lost in all but one, a minor win on procedure.
Trump never presented any credible evidence to back up his claims. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-election_lawsuits_related_to_the_2020_U.S._presidential_election)
Is it possible that Mars signifies someone, or some process, altering votes in Trump’s favor? Mars is in its detriment in Cancer, showing a bad player or process. Mars is interested in the Moon
(voters/votes) by virtue of being in the Moon's sign of Cancer. The Moon exalts Mars in return (favors Mars in an exaggerated way). The Sun squares Mars at nearly the same time as it trines
Jupiter. To me this looks like Trump gathering more votes for himself from Mars, giving him the win. Astrologically speaking, I think there’s a case here for election tampering.
Does it matter? No, unless evidence is presented and found to be fact in a court of law. Might that still happen? Only time will tell.
