Some form of this question floats through my mind on a regular basis, but on this day last January I decided to ask the question formally: “When will we be rid of Trumpism?” 13 January 2026 at 3:20 p.m. CST, Milwaukee, WI.
The typical term for Trump supporters is MAGA, but for some reason I used the term Trumpism in this question. However, the two terms are interchangeable.
Trump is signified by Jupiter, ruler of Pisces on the tenth house cusp. I wasn’t asking about Trump, though, but about the movement of voters that supports him.
I decided to use Saturn, ruler of Capricorn on the seventh house cusp, to signify the MAGA movement. My reasoning: MAGA is the enemy to me, and enemies are signified by the seventh house.
Saturn is found in the tenth house, Trump's house, and it’s in Pisces, the sign on the tenth house cusp. This fits the context and seems to confirm the choice of Lord 7 to signify MAGA. (I did
note that the North Node and South Node fall across the fourth-tenth house axis, drawing my attention there; but I decided this was the chart’s way of highlighting Trump himself as central to the
question.)
My question implies some end point, or at least a major change in status, so I decided to consider Saturn's first two aspects as "events along the way." Saturn first sextiles Uranus in less than
a degree. (In traditional astrology Uranus does not rule signs and acts more like a fixed star.) Next, Saturn sextiles Venus with major mutual reception (Saturn exalts Venus, Venus favors/is
ruled by Saturn).
Saturn will then conjunct Neptune ("the Earthshaker” in mythology) in about two and a half degrees, immediately after which it passes out of Pisces into Aries, the sign of its fall. Here is a testimony that makes sense to me. This change in essential dignity shows a dramatic loss of power or status, and it happens in about three units of time. If we consider three units to be three years, that means January of 2029, when the next president will be inaugurated.
My judgment is that Trumpism will lose power in January 2029, once the next president is inaugurated. I can't say that we'll be rid of MAGA entirely, but I believe it will cease to be a major force in US politics around that time.
Please note that this chart doesn't show whether the next president will be a Democrat or Republican. I pray it is a Democrat, and a strong one at that!
I do wonder what Neptune might signify. We can’t know for sure, but this could be the event of Trump’s death. There is already speculation about the 80-year-old Trump being ill from either congestive heart failure and/or dementia. (The likelihood of death around that time would have to be verified by a study of Trump's birth chart, with progressions and solar/lunar returns.) Neptune could signify the November 2028 election itself. Or, it could signify something else that MAGA would consider earthshaking--something we can't yet anticipate.
Time will tell if this prediction proves correct or incorrect!
