I have been a student of astrology since my 20's, when the search for answers to life's big questions led me beyond the beliefs of my Catholic upbringing into the realm of metaphysics.  

From an early age I had questions about the world and our place in it.  In particular, I have wrestled with the reality of human suffering.  Why must we suffer?  What can be done about it?  My desire to understand the ‘why’ of things is the fuel that has driven my study and practice of astrology. 

I hold a master's degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and am credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating Phi Beta Kappa ("Love of learning is the guide of life"). I am newly retired from three decades of work in mental health in psychiatric hospital settings.  I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA with my cat.
